7500 Delegation of representatives of aviation subdivision of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Turkey visited ANTONOV Company
Within a period between the 29th and 30th of September 2019, ANTONOV Company was visited by Delegation of representatives of aviation departments of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Turkey headed by Brigadier general – Head of Aviation Department of Gendarmerie and Police Head of Aviation Department.
The first day of the visit was held at Flight Test and Development Base of the company. During a demonstration flight of the AN-178 medium transport the delegation’s members were convinced of advantages of this airplane in comparison with its analogues operated by Gendarmerie of the Republic of Turkey.
In the course of visit the Turkish guests also visited production facilities of the enterprise, where manufacturing of five AN-178s had been launched, and viewed a complex flight simulator for training the crews of aircraft of AN-1X8 family.
Following the results of the visit, negotiations between ANTONOV’s representatives and Turkish delegation with participation of Mr. Aivaras Abromavichius, Director Genersal of Ukroboronprom SC, were conducted. The parties discussed directions of cooperation.
