ANTONOV AIRLINES NAMED AIR BUSINESS OF THE YEAR AT FTA LOGISTICS AWARDS

Antonov Airlines takes home an FTA Logistics Award for the second year running. Antonov Airlines has scooped the Air Business of the Year Award at the FTA Logistics Awards 2019 which took place, at Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge, London.

Antonov Airlines was shortlisted with two other finalists for the prize that is awarded to an air business that has generated exceptional results and has an impact on the industry that is truly class leading.

Michael Goodisman, Business Development Director, Antonov Airlines UK office attended the event and collected the award. “Antonov Airlines continues to break records and spearhead the industry for engineering, safety, and customer service, and we are proud to have our efforts recognised with this award,” said Goodisman. “We are also absolutely thrilled to win our second award in a row at the FTA Logistics Awards, after we won Air Freight Operator of the Year last year".

The Freight Business of the Year Award is open to any business involved in air freight, including airlines, airports and ground service providers.

The FTA Awards are the only awards for the industry, by the industry, and celebrate entries from road, rail, sea and air including operators, manufacturers, retail, logistics and supporting industries.

The Freight Transport Association (FTA) based in Tunbridge Wells is one of the largest trade associations in the UK, with members moving goods by road, rail, sea, and air. Its mission is to represent the views and interests of over 17000 companies from the transport industry: from large multinationals and household names to small and medium businesses.
